In some classes the Bibles have been used in the Literacy Hour, and in RE lessons, and I am sure that the children will continue to gain a great deal from their Bibles in the months and years ahead.

Christine Harris, Milton Junior School, Weston-super-Mare

As you will see from the letters and cards enclosed the Bibles have been a great success and the children just love reading them.

Mrs Shirley Endall, Brent Knoll CE VC School, Somerset

The children were so thrilled with the Bibles that you gave to them and many have said to me that they sit down every night and read a different story from their new Bible.

Steve Voake, Kilmersden CE VA School, Kilmersden, Bath

I know from talking to the children, and from their faces, just how much the gift of their Bibles has meant to them.

Stephen Bicknell, St Michael’s CE Primary School, Melksham, Wiltshire

The parents and the children were stunned by the quality of the Bibles presented. Many parents told me how their children were reading them every morning and again when they went to bed.

Lesley MacKenzie (now at Timsbury Primary School), Bishop Sutton Primary School, Somerset

All the children are thrilled with their Bibles and many asked to read them during their own free time. We are studying the Bible in RE and the children really look forward to the lessons.

Lucy Robbins, Saltfleetby CE Primary School, Saltfleetby, Lincolnshire

All the children were delighted with their Bibles and could hardly put them down during reading time. We have kept them in school until half-term, so that the children will really know them before taking them home.

Sue Smith, St Peters Primary School, Chippenham, Wiltshire.
